The management of the Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndifu-Alike, Ikwo (AE-FUNAI) has released its revised academic calendar for the 2021/2022 academic year. AE-FUNAI Academic Calendar
Break for all students (Feb 22 – Mar 21): Students were asked to vacate the campus for the election break, ensuring their safety and participation in the electoral process.
Lectures and Mid-Semester Examination (Mar 22 – Mar 28): Lectures will resume on March 22, with the Mid-Semester Examination for first-year students taking place during this period.
Continuation of Lectures and Final Year Project External Examination (Mar 29 – Apr 6): Lectures will continue for all students, while final year students will undergo external examinations for their projects.
Easter Break (Apr 7 – Apr 10): Students and staff will enjoy a short break to celebrate Easter before diving back into academic activities.
Second Semester Examinations (Apr 11 – Apr 28): Examinations for all students will commence on April 11 and conclude on April 28.
New Academic Session (May 6): The new academic session for 2022/2023 will commence with students returning to campus.
Lectures and Results Submission (May 10 – May 19): Lectures for all students will begin on May 10, and the submission of examination scripts and results for the 2nd semester of 2021/2022 will take place on May 19.
Departmental and Faculty Board Meetings (May 23 – May 24): Departmental Board Meetings for result consideration will take place on May 23, followed by Faculty Board Meetings for Result consideration on May 24. These meetings will ensure the proper evaluation and processing of students’ results for the 2nd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.
Result Portal Closes (May 27): The result portal for the 2nd semester of 2021/2022 will close on May 27, marking the end of the result submission and consideration process.
Senate (May 30): The university’s Senate will convene on May 30 to finalize and approve all academic matters, including the results from the 2021/2022 academic year.
