Lagos State University (LASU) is dedicated to ensuring that all of its graduates are mobilized for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and are properly registered at the Orientation Camp at the beginning of each Service Year. In light of this, LASU has provided important information for graduates proceeding on National Youth Service Corps for the 2023 Batch A stream 2.
NYSC Registration Details:
The NYSC registration for 2023 Batch A stream 2 began on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, and will end on Monday, April 17, 2023. Graduates, also known as Prospective Corps Members (PCMs), should take note of these dates and complete their registration accordingly.
School ID Cards:
LASU urges its students to obtain their school ID cards, as they will serve as a means of identification at the Orientation Camp(s).
Date of Graduation Consistency:
All PCMs must ensure that the date of graduation on the NYSC Portal and their Call-Up letters is consistent with that on their Notification of Results/Certificates. PCMs should present these documents along with their School Identity Card at the Students’ Affairs Division before proceeding to the Orientation Camp to avoid rejection.
Self-Generated Notification of Results:
Graduates of Lagos State University are advised to print their self-generated Notification of Results on plain white conqueror paper to achieve uniformity in the document(s).
